A little update

Added a new gallery section to my website and changed a few images in others. Hopefully get some more work up after some scanning gets done!

Mt Bike Suicide

Well, what did I get myself into. Got invited to go for a mountain bike ride with Drew and Colby to a run called “Suicide”. I am not to great on a mountain bike, but it was going to be fun to go and take some pictures and try it out. It all starts with a 45 minute walk up pushing a bike, I thought my calves were going to explode. It was getting dark as we got to the top, and it was windy. Headed down at my pace (slow) to spots to take pictures, snapped some, and then worked our way down the mountain with minimal light. I need to try this activity some other time then after dusk. Got some cool pictures tho!

Hungry Horse

Here is a few from Hungry Horse Dam, Montana’s highest and the eleventh largest in the country. A few more pictures not dam related, but I like them.

Frosted Tips

Clear blue skies and freezing out at the mountain today. 10 at the bottom and 0 at the summit and probably colder on the backside. All of our mustaches froze and were way frosted, it was rad.

Whitefish Winter Wonderland 2010

Started the new decade off with a trip to Whitefish Montana for some snow adventuring an snowboarding. I flew on the same flight as everyone so I didn’t have to wait stand by, made everything easier. First day we adventures around Kalispell, got some $1.20 beanies, an went into a few shops. Next day we adventures over to Hungry Horse Dam area and ran around and took some pictures. There was a decent amount of snow but not a much as last year. We went snowboarding at Big Mt. and shredded with out shred sticks, it was slightly snowing all day and not that cold by the snow was great. Our gnarboots got tired and we headed back to eat some dinner and continue our poker game we have had going for a few days. Woke up today and there was snow everywhere. Sweet pow pow all over an it was still snowing. Walked around in the fresh snow and then we went to Kalispell to adventure and get lunch at an old style soda fountain. I ventured off and wrangled up some snow horses and we hung out with then for a while. The soda fountain place was amazing. Then they gve us a tour of an old orchestra hall that was in the same building above us. So rad. Definitely a great time so far, more shredding gnar on the mountain tomorrow in the powder!(sorry, pictures out of order…)

Vegas LOVE

Went to Las Vegas with the family to go see Cirque du Soleil’s Beatles LOVE show. We have all not been to Vegas for a while together, so it was fun. It was Hana’s first time there since she has been 21. Last time we all went it was totally different. TI was Treasure Island and I think half the new hotels weren’t even there. We just adventured around the first night, got dinner, played games, played some slots. I lost some money playing slots through out the day, and we were at NY NY and I decided to play the big $1 slot, and won, and then played some more, then won some more, then played some more, and won even more! At the end I had a total of 80 $1 gold coins. It was awesome. Everyone went back to bed after that, and I just walked around looking at all the ridiculous people. Next day we headed out to Circus Circus so Summer could play some midway games, so Hana Dad and I just went around the Casino and played a little. We went shopping and checked out some other new malls and casinos and killed time until the LOVE show. We had awesome seats, I was not sure what to expect for the show at all, so when it started I was in awe. It was such a rad show, so much awesome stuff happening at all times. I really recommend everyone to go see it, if you like The Beatles or not, it was just rad. Drove home after and now it’s New Years Eve…crazy.

Playing Around

Been playing around with some photos today. All of them from the road trip in 2009. I like going back into the archives every now and then and seeing what I come up with.

Taco Trucks

Taco Trucks are pretty much a staple in LA. I love them. I want to try as many as possible. Omar introduced me to the Taco Zone last weekend and I had to come back to get more of there suadero(deep fried brisket). I had it in a taco, and then tonight in a quesadilla. They were both amazing. Can’t wait to try some different trucks this week.

Holiday Gifts

Made some gifts for some family and friends. They came out really nice, i’m stoked on them.
