Spent a good amount of time riding and racing and the rolls of film sat on my desk for to long, so I got them processed. Always fun to go through a month or two of shots. Had a job that flew me out to Florida for three days of non stop shooting of watches. Never been to this part of Florida so was somewhat looking forward to looking around. Took the red eye out and landed at 5:30am and had to meet at the work space at 10:00am. Didn’t really sleep so I checked in early at the hotel and took a nap until shoot time. Luckily, there was a Dunkin Donuts right next to the jewelers so I stopped there(every morning…). Never got the chance to leave the shooting station, for the next 2 days as well. It got dark by the time I left and I just went back to the room and worked on the photos. Worked as fast as possible on the last day with just enough time to drive back to the airport and fly home. Well, so much for seeing the area…I guess I can leave that for next time. Here is basically all that I saw while I was there

Cyclocross is becoming bigger and bigger in the states now. There are more and more races happening and bigger names from all over are coming out. A few weekends ago a race was held in Historic Downtown Los Angeles park and big names from around the country came to race. Ben Berden came over from Belgium to get his race legs ready for the season over in Europe. ROAD was doing an article on him and I was asked to go photograph doing what he does best(racing). Nice guy, very talented racer. Here are a few selects from the day.

Put together a book from some selected images from some my travels outside the united states. Made it through blurb to test out there services and it has been a good experience. Took the Eurostar from England to Paris. What a speedy trip that was. It was really easy to get on the train without the hassle of checking bags in like on a plane. Didn’t even notice going under the English Channel into France at all. We got a cozy little hotel right on Rue de Rivoli which was a great location to get where we wanted. Did a lot of walking along the Seine river. Knew where a few things were from last time I came, but also saw some new sights as well. The few days we had went fast but I will never complain about any time spend in Paris.

Our first leg of our trip was to where Darcy’s nannie lives in England which is on the coast east of London. It is a nice little town called Broadstairs in Kent. This is where Charles Dickens wrote some of his novels. All the little streets and houses reminded me of being in Japan somewhat. The beach was in a little cove with these awesome blue and yellow doors that are storage for peoples items for when they come in the summer time. Would love to go to the beach in the summer and see all the action. It was nice to see the coast and see a different part of England and not just see London. Here are a few snaps from the phone from my recent trip to the United Kingdom and Paris with Darcy, just got back in last night(and hoping I beat the jet lag…) We were there for 10 days and it was a fast one, definitely wish it was longer. Here are 10 photos. Still need to get the film processed, and then scanned!

It was time to upgrade, my old iPhone(3G) just wasn’t not cutting it anymore. I went ahead and woke up early to make my pre-order for the iPhone 4s. Saw the specs on it and was a little bit skeptical, but I am impressed. The camera is great, operating system runs fast and smooth, and the screen is really sharp. I really like taking pictures with my phone, it is easy and I always have it, quite, and you can sneak some good shots. Here are a few photos from my first week with it, just slight post done to them(exposure/contrast) like I would to any photo from any camera.
